Crumb piecing is a way of using up scraps of fabric to create something new and beautiful.

In the below video I show you the technique to create a heart decoration, but you can create endless shapes, from Christmas stars, to Easter eggs, to squares to make a whole quilt. I look forward to seeing what you make.

These Liberty Tana Lawn Scrap Packs are made up of small pieces of fabric in varying sizes. Ideal for crumb piecing and patchwork, as well as decoupage projects.

Each pack comes with a free video tutorial on how to use your pieces here.

There is a selection of colours and fabrics to choose from.

All bags are 50g excluding the bag they come packaged in.

PLEASE NOTE: Please be under no illusion these are crumb pieces, saved in jars from my quilting and clothes making. These are not large piece scrap packs and by purchasing you accept you have read and understood this, I wouldn't want customers to be disappointed.

Suggested materials used in the video:

 

  • Fabric Scraps

  • A larger piece of base fabric 5” x 5”

  • Scissors / Rotary Cutter with ruler and mat

  • Card or paper

  • Paper Scissors

  • Ruler

  • Pencil

  • Iron

  • Sewing Machine / Needle and Thread

  • String / Yarn / Pearle thread 8”

  • Wadding offcuts / Toy stuffing

  • Chopstick

Other Ideas
